peanut butter balls

I KNOW NOT THE BEST PICTURES..:/

THIS RECIPE IS FROM THE BETTY CROCKER kids cookbook 1957 surprisingly these are the best recipes ever!!!

PENUT BUTTER BALLS (OR CREAMS)
note:you may also use this recipe of peanut butter frosting
1 egg
1/3 cup of peanut butter
1 tbsp of butter
1/2 tsp of vanilla
1/8 tsp of salt
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of powdered sugar
maybe a little bit of flour between 1tbsp and 1/2 cup

1.here's a tip!!!! crack the one egg in to the 1/3 cup and pour it in. then beat the egg with a rotary beater and put the peanut butter into the 1/3 cup that you just used. the peanut butter should just slide out!!!:)

2.then add all the other ingredients but only add 1 cup of powdered sugar.beat till smooth
stir in the other 1 cup of powdered sugar. it should have enough shape to roll into balls.if not add flour.

3.make into balls on a cookie sheet. you can roll them in nuts, drizzle chocolate over them or just leave them plain.

4. leave in the fridge overnight.
